I like school

I've calmed down since then, especially since I've had time to consider what the mighty Chris Morris would call "the scented rose in the bum-gut of Satan."

The students here are the perfect mix of cheeky and diligent. They make this school worthwhile, which is what it's all about. This school is also notable for one of my favourite teachers for miles; the lady with whom I taught the aforementioned Second Year lesson. This woman favours the more organic approach to language learning, which is reflected in her own formidable skills. She knows that circus tricks are expected and she knows how to get them whilst actually teaching the students how to communicate with each other.

...and, in the wake of my foaming tantrum, I remember that the third grade teacher I was complaining about is getting the students to practice the form of a test that they will actually sit. She's not wrong - the whole freakin' system's wrong.

I am wishing you luck with the new teacher. Why don't you come into class twirling your pink umbrella? I'm sure she'll soften, you can all have a spot of tea with crumpets, and life will be grand again. (or you can shove it up her arse... whatever works.)
